  • 2005-02-24 - Francois Brunet is appointed President of D. E. Systems Ltd. Effective February 1, Francois Brunet will take over the role of President of D.E. Systems. Francois joined D. E. Systems as a Vice President on February 1, 1999. In the past six years, he has managed all six divisions of the company, effectively and with energy. As president, Francois will oversee the management and growth of D. E. Systems, coming off one of the best years in the history of the firm. Growth in the Computer Rental Divisions as well as other new avenues of growth is expected to provide the keys to success moving forward.
  • 2005-02-24 - David Dugas is appointed Vice President, General Manager of Branch Operations of D. E. Systems Ltd. Effective February 15, David Dugas will assume the role of Vice President and oversee branch operations in Toronto and Montreal. As vice president, David will be looking at future business opportunities and other key initiatives notably within the technology and tourism/trade sectors. David joined the firm in 1987 working in the Marketing and Sales department of our computer rental division.

Systems has standardized its rental pool on NEC based display products. With an inventory of over 200 LCD’s, selecting a quality product was of critical importance. NEC provided the best price/performance mix making the decision easy. D.E. Systems stocks 17” through 42” LCD Display Products in it’s rental inventory.
  • 2005-02-24 - D.E. Systems Ltd. renews Microsoft Authorized Rental Partner Agreement. D.E. Systems has extended its agreement with Microsoft giving D. E. Systems the ability to provide Microsoft Office XP Pro or 2003 Software suites on rental PC’s. This Rental agreement is required for PC rental companies that wish to include Microsoft software products with their rental PC’s.
  • 2005-02-24 - Identification Services D.E. Systems now offers advanced technology services for Identification card production using Datacard® ID Works® identification software. We can provide options for sophisticated biometric and smart card-based programs. Including everything needed to produce identification cards and reports; the service is a complete turnkey solution for applications requiring advanced features and security. Our services include the development of smart card and biometric programs and design (Biometric Server and Smart Card Application Manager) along with the ability to capture photos, signatures, fingerprint images and other identity information as well as magnetic stripe and smart card encoding. Using Magna Series card printers with the Advanced Imaging Technology™, our printers feature full or one-color printing, on one or both sides of the card, with optional Datacard® DuraGard® laminate or topcoat for card security and durability. We offer the service in house or on site for conference registration.

  • 2005-02-01 - D.E. Systems Ltd., headquartered in Ottawa, ON is pleased to announce the opening of a new Computer Rental Branch Sales Office and Warehouse in Montreal, QC. The Montreal Branch Office will be responsible for supplying technology hardware for rent to the tourism trade, education, corporate and technology sectors throughout Quebec. This office represents D. E. Systems' third full service location in Canada and will serve as a strong indicator to the dedication D. E. Systems Ltd. has in servicing the short term technology equipment needs of its' clients, notably in the event industry. D. E. Systems is a privately held, Canadian Based company specializing in short term computer rentals and software solutions for the event and medical industry. Our short term rental pool consists of desktop computers, notebook computers, printers, display equipment and networking hardware.

The new modular countertop solution facilitates cyber café's of 2-12 computers with an option for personalized company signage. The cyber café can be equipped with either desktop or notebook computers and prices start at $ 612 (exclusive of internet connection fees) for a 2 station kiosk.
